Our intention behind introducing the Artist Collective is to give us an opportunity to shine a big beautiful bright light on different artists, designers and pioneers that we feel resonate with the energy here at Jes MaHarry. It feels important to us to share ideas, inspirations and not only celebrate the creative spirit but also inspire all the brilliant people around us.

Virginia McCracken
I work on a small scale. Small objects in nature, images and those human-made delight me. They have an inherent intricacy, mystery, and charm. I love to work with color and texture.
Katherine Dunn
Katherine is an artist/writer who owns and lives on Apifera Farm, an animal non-profit sanctuary in Maine that she runs with her husband. Her land and animals are merged into art and story.

My approach to painting is simple I create what brings me joy. Drawing from my life experiences and the colorful inspirations that surround me, my work reflects the people and moments that matter most, friends, family, and my lifelong love of art.
Julie Spako
Inspired by patterns, textiles, and her grandmother’s blue willow collection, Julie Spako creates hand-built ceramic serving and dinnerware. Meticulously painted by hand, her work is functional, beautiful, and made to become part of everyday life.

My life along the path of creating is a playful, winding dance of hide and seek. The elusive sense of inner freedom seems to be just behind the next door. Painting is where I carefully begin unhinging and removing the hiding places within myself and within each new work.
