Jes Maharry ARTIST COLLECTIVE
Our intention behind introducing the Artist Collective is to give us an opportunity to shine a big beautiful bright light on different artists, designers and pioneers that we feel resonate with the energy here at Jes MaHarry. It feels important to us to share ideas, inspirations and not only celebrate the creative spirit but also inspire all the brilliant people around us.
Enjoy xo Jes
Welcome Summer Featured Artist - Donna Ayscough
Julie Spako
Inspired by patterns, textiles, and her grandmother’s blue willow collection, Julie Spako creates hand-built ceramic serving and dinnerware. Meticulously painted by hand, her work is functional, beautiful, and made to become part of everyday life.
Carolyn Holman
My life along the path of creating is a playful, winding dance of hide and seek. The elusive sense of inner freedom seems to be just behind the next door. Painting is where I carefully begin unhinging and removing the hiding places within myself and within each new work.
Nicole Strasburg
With a minimalist approach to the landscape, my work interweaves naturalistic imagery and abstract sensibilities. My focus is design influenced by natural forms.
Lisa Neimeth
I love the notion of high-end craft and taking time to carefully make everyday items. It is the way things used to be made—by hand and with great care and craft. It encourages an appreciation of the everyday.
Karen Bezuidenhout
A Santa Barbara-based artist originally from the wine country of Stellenbosch, South Africa, developed a deep love for nature, animals and adventure.
Erin Siena Jobs
I use mid-range, high fire clays and glazes to make pieces that reflect my emotional state in the moments I make them.
